All abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the official ACRSICON 2026 website (https://acrsicon2026.com). Email or offline submissions will not be accepted. A confirmation email with a unique abstract ID will be generated upon successful submission.

General Guidelines
The presenting author may submit multiple abstracts; however, if more than one abstract
is accepted, the Scientific Committee may request co-authors to present additional
abstracts to ensure program balance.
Abstracts must contain original material that has neither been published nor presented
at another meeting at the time of submission and must not be under consideration
elsewhere.
Abstracts may be edited through the submission portal until the submission deadline.
All accepted abstracts must be presented in person at the assigned session. Virtual
presentation will not be permitted unless specifically approved by the Organizing
Committee.
The presenting author must be registered for ACRSICON 2026 by the
registration deadline. Failure to present may result in withdrawal from the final
program and abstract compendium.

Word Limit: Maximum 300 words (excluding title and authors)

No references permitted within the abstract text.
Standard abbreviations may be used but must be defined at first use.
Data must be complete; statements such as “results will be discussed” are not
acceptable.
Video Requirements
Maximum Duration: 8 minutes
File Format: MP4
Maximum File Size: 500 MB
Resolution: Minimum 1080p recommended
No identifying institution logos or author names within the video during blinded review.
Voiceover must be in English.
Confirmation of patient consent (where applicable) is mandatory.
Share video via Google Drive / YouTube (Unlisted) / Dropbox link with open access
enabled.
Review & Compliance
Review Process: Each abstract will undergo blinded peer review by at
least two independent reviewers. Evaluation will be based on originality, scientific
quality, relevance, and clarity. Decisions of the Scientific Committee are final and
binding.
Blinded Review: Author names, institutional details, acknowledgements,
or self-identifying statements must not appear within the abstract text or video file.
Ethical Compliance: Studies involving human participants must comply
with institutional ethical standards. Ethics approval details must be available upon
request. Patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
Conflict of Interest: All authors must disclose any financial or
industry relationships at the time of submission.
Plagiarism: Abstracts may be screened for plagiarism. Duplicate
submissions or ethical misconduct may result in rejection.
Awards & Recognition
Cash prizes will be awarded to the best abstracts and videos.
Three best abstracts will receive special recognition and will be published as
‘Award Paper’ in the Indian Journal of Colorectal Surgery subject to
the journal’s editorial and publication policies.
